We had an unforgettable stay at La Marmotte campsite. We went with friends, as we do every year. For us, holidays are synonymous with sporting activities. We couldn't just sit back and do nothing. That's why we chose to join the mountainous landscapes of Occitania by booking a few days in a family campsite.
A campsite close to many activities
The real advantage of this campsite is its proximity to the mountains. For a start, we had a breathtaking view of these immense mountain ranges from our rental accommodation. Living on the west coast, we don't have this kind of scenery at home. So it was very nice to wake up in the peace and quiet with such a view. And what's more, in a modern and very comfortable rental. We were a group of 8, so we rented two mobile homes side by side. The campsite owners made us very welcome and were very accommodating.
Mountain biking, hiking... sporty holidays in Occitanie
As I was saying, despite a rental of the most pleasant, it was out of the question for us to stay at the campsite. After discussing the region's highlights at length with the members of the team at this campsite in Occitanie, we set off on an excursion. We used the footpaths near the campsite. Some days we went MOUNTAIN BIKE and the other days on foot. We'd take our picnics with us, and eat on a high point to admire the valley below us. In the evening, we came back from our walks tired, but delighted to have been able to enjoy these magnificent landscapes.
